You've heard about this little city that won Conde Nast Traveler's

Now experience it with other like-minded curious adventursome friends.

Conde Nast Traveler's top spot

San Miguel de Allende nabbed the No. 1 spot thanks to its great atmosphere, excellent restaurants, culture and ambiance galore. The lack of [traffic] lights and billboards makes the region romantically and historically beautiful. The city itself offers a traditional feeling
of a small town in the heart of
Mexico.   An amazing place to be.

A bit about San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, MX

San Miguel de Allende is a city that manages to be both quaint and cosmopolitan at the same time. Once an important stop on the silver route between Zacatecas and Mexico City, its historic center is filled with well-preserved buildings from the 17th and 18th centuries. With its narrow cobblestone streets, leafy courtyards, fine architectural details and sumptuous interiors, San Miguel de Allende is arguably the prettiest town in Mexico.

In 2008 UNESCO recognized San Miguel de Allende and the neighboring Sanctuary of Jesus de Atotonilco as World Heritage of Humanity sites, citing the town's religious and civil architecture as a demonstration of the evolution of different trends and styles, from Baroque to late 19th century Neo-Gothic.      (More)

6 A week goes by……..get on the shuttle and steps 1, 2, 3, 4, in reverse….simple

OK, that might be oversimplifying it but since we  are all individuals, we are not structuring a complete vacation for you.  We want you to experience SMA as we did, search, discover visited and enjoyed.  We have arranged also for you a fine gentleman who is available for tours or to be your driver.  He speaks perfect English and is a life-long resident.  Alfredo can give you a tour of the city or mapped out and recommend many of the places we, be overjoyed and learned about this marvelous city our own way.  We have the country side.  Alfredo Lopez’s phone number is available by asking us for it.

SMA is a walking city, so walk it, absorb it, feel it, and live it.  SMA is a very safe city, but, be observant at all times.  Don’t leave your purse or your camera etc. laying around unattended. Use the same caution you would if you were in an unknown city in the US.

There will be a designated meeting place for us each evening if you want to meet up with the group and plan dinner or the
evening's outings, but this is optional...we will just be there if you need us.  We encourage to explore.

    You will probably
meet some of the
local "Ex-Pats"
 that undoubtedly
 be hanging at many
of the same places.
